A leader within its field, my client is looking for an experienced software architect to join its established development department based in Leicester.
Working under a development manager and alongside another architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing large scale software projects as well as acting as technical lead small to medium sized teams (17 developers in all). You must have at least five years of high level design*development experience with a combination of C++ and C# exposure (min 1yr C#). Exceptional candidates with significant Visual C++ experience will be considered even if they have limited C# knowledge. An appreciation for object orientation (OO) is a prerequisite as is a knowledge of UML.
On offer is a chance for a senior developer to progress into a software architecture role within a busy development environment. A basic salary will be offered of up to £37k with additional benefits.
